what kinda music do you listen to to get hyped up before skiing, or whatever it is you do. Before playing paintball i listen to some rammstien to get ready. and bob dylan is good too :| what do you reccomend?

yeah, I don't know about getting 'pumped' before stuff, usually if it's something I am going to need to be excited to do I will get excited no matter what and I don't need to have music playing turned up all the way to the point i can't make out the song's love for satan and the static and cracking from a under powered stereo system. Music does have a big role in all my riding, but usually it is anything that is way chill, or musically talented. When I ski it really doesn't matter what i am listening to, I think it is mainly the distraction the music gives me from hesitating or second guessing my lines. I just love to charge and flow. The same thing when i wakeboard or surf, listening to music is a little less practical, but listen to come chill stuff beforehand, and then having that music stuck in your head while you are riding offers that same form of distraction from fear and helps lift any mental limits you may have. I think a lot of athletes find this in a lot of distractions, girls, reefer, beer, all these main ingridiants that make life wonderful seem to progress my riding when used correctly. But yeah I listen to music before and while I ride, not always to get 'pumped, stoked, or excited' but to relax, concentrate, work on style, stay smooth and go big. Once your body is in good condition and you have the skills, your only limits are mental, and if music or other distractions can take away these limits, there is no stopping how far you can progress.
