What makes you most nostalgic about skiing?

I remember being 12-13 years old, if not younger and watching videos of Tom Wallisch in particular, especially the urban scene from superunknown
=249, the song is nostalgic as fuck because of that.

I even named my dog Wallisch which recently died after 11 long, but good years.

Old videos of Henrik Harlaut and Mike Horbeck gives me goosebumps too.

Edit: Here's a pic of my dog Wallisch for anyone who might be interested:

There is a video on YouTube call “snowboard” it was the first viral edit back in like 2009 or something. We watched it nonstop as we would wait for the weekends

Was it in black/White or really bleak colors with a song called fabolous by Fergie?

The stink when I take my gear off, it's not good or bad . It's just bad enough to be considered stink, but it's my own scent so I can handle it , making it kinda good . You know what I mean ? Kinda like how the smell of your own fart isn't as gross to you as it would be to your buddy

The smell of my balaclava. I pretty much always wear one while riding so it’s something I connect very strongly to skiing. It’s like nothing else — I can pull it out of the bin in the dead of summer & it brings me right back to snow.

The smell and taste of Monster. My parents didn’t let me drink energy drinks when I was a kid but Monster use to sponsor a bunch of events at my home mountain so whenever there was a comp they’d hand out Monster to everyone.
