What makes a good or ok park GREAT?!?!?!?

creative features, lots of flow and rhythm, and not all snowboarder designed features like ride on rails

-maintained features-good rail take offs (like rainbows/battleships done properly, downs done urban, a mix of urban take offs -and gaps on)-lots of kick on jumps-longer park rather than wider so you get more hits in-more rails, less boxes. I hate parks that are all boxes.

this
features allow creativity of different lines. Jumps have right lip angle and landing angle so they flow smooth. rail lips don't rocket the rider upwards so that they land with the force of 6G's on the rail. Features are level and well maintained. Features not only serve a main purpose but can double or triple feature as a few different hits. and most of all don't let ratards in who ski off the lips and take their children through. NO RUTS

progressive lanes, stuff for learning new stuff in one lane, and stuff for making it look sick in another one. also no ride-on rainbow rails or up rails (unless there's a really steep take off)

perfect jumps. i grew up on the east, skiing rails all day everyday. but when you get into a "good" park with "great" jumps it will turn good skiers into great skiers.

safe features....
wallrides and QP'sfeatures that can be hit on multiple ways...a rail that is rediculously long...jumps that are properly shaped and not just a pile of snow with tracks on it....rollercoaster rails...special features such as barrel jibs or cannon boxes...
all kinds of "urban" jibs; oil barrels, tubes, picnick tables, a car that's half buried, make a wallride against a tree or something, etc...

oh, also a dedicated and fast park lift; so you don't have to ski down the whole mountain and take two lifts to lap the park and lose a lot of time + get cold...

the biggest thing for me is not having fucked up lips and icy or rutted out landings
i can hit the same well cut box for hours

I like doing random original features. I like a park that has something that no one else does because its so random yet so fun

-under a chairlift

-designed and maintained by experienced staff who care and will actually be hitting the park

-good flow so that you dont always have ice spots from braking

-both easy and hard features so you can progress

-lots of people but not so much that you have to wait forever to hit something

and a park pass to keep gapers out

awesome flow

chair accesable

proper landings

both progressive and challenging features

maintained by the park crew

a nice cold beer.

one with a lift from top to bottom - the one in tignes this year you have to ski about half a mile down to the chair, which was old and slow,

oh and the park shouldn't be flat, i hate having to push into features, messes up my steeze!

doesn't matter how creative you are if you can't build the features you can draw. sick cat drivers make or break a park.
