What length Blends

I am about to purchase some Line blends, but I can't decide what length to get.

I currently Ski 178 anthems and have been pretty happy with them, but am looking to get the blends as a stiffer, park and pow ski.

I'm 6'1, 170 pounds, and a strong skier (used to race if that means anything)

It's between 178 or 183, i sort of like a shorter ski, but don't want to waste money on a ski if i'm just going to decide its too short or long later on.

Thanks

so would the 183 be considered a little long if All i did was park? The anthems were the longest ski I have had to this date, and I have never skied a longer ski in the park so im sorry for all the questions. would the skis being 5 cm longer than the anthems make that much of a difference for spins?

thanks

^ no, not at all to long for the park. If you're a halfway decent skier, at your size, and meant as a more versatile ski, then you should go longer. Having the anthems, you can hone in on rails, and maybe keep the blends for jumps and pow. What are you thinking about for mounting point?

And for reference, I ride LIne octos for park and bacons for pow. Line skis generally run short and my 08/09 SFBs (182 cms) actually measure closer to 179.

for sure go with the 183's. i had a pair last season (i'm 5'11" and a little heavier than you) and i would have killed myself if i had the shorter ones. conveniently, i am trying to sell mine. they're in awesome shape. see for yourself:https://newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/472684/

not to thread jack or anything but im 5'4''ish and was thinking about getting blends but ive never really stood next to them. the shortest they come is 168, but are they a long 168 or short or pretty true?? today i unwrapped a pair of rossignol s3 that were 168 and they were perfect size, but at the same time a pair of 169 lords were pushing it for my taste. thanks
