Hey...I'm new at this website...and new at buying my own skis. Can anyone give me advice on buying freestyle skis? Like what are good kinds (I'm looking into Rossi Scratch FS) and what is the difference between beginner skis and experienced skis? One more thing...what do you guys think of the Rossi Scratch? Good or bad?

i would go with K2 or 4Frnt, thats my opinion, and i skiid the scratch fs and they sucked

i have the scratch fs, i like them, and they are really soft. if you are skiing mostly park the scratches would be good, but if you want an all mountain ski, i wouldnt go for the fs

i say u wait till next year where all the NICE skis come out...look forward to K2, Armada, Line, and 4 frnt. I like the new armadas though. the rossis are all the same just diff graphics.

^^^ so are the armadas

think what you will, but english skiers will takeover one day...

m1 garand is a FUCKING FAG an should stick to playing CS Online

yeah wait till next year, or buy something at the end of the season, because everything would be hella cheap, or go to e-bay and buy some stolen ski's. people who steal skis should be shot though...

Farp is gods gift to man.

I'm so big

you'd have to jump and swing up

just to hit me in the knees....

yea definatley wait until next year to buy new skis you'll regret buying skis now

The shit hasnt even begun to hit the fan

So you guys would suggest K2 and 4 frnt

over rossis? And I wasn't planning on

buying skis right now anyway...i was

gonna wait for the summer sale at

Vertical Drop in Cincinnati. But

thanks for the input! If anyone has

anymore advice it would be greatly

appreciated!

ETsoccer, the best thing you can do right now, is to demo skis whenever you can at your hill. This way you can form your own opinion on skis you like, and know firsthand whether or not it is a good idea to buy them. However you may only find mainstream companies like Rossignol, Salomon, Volkl, Atomic and Dynastar at a demo center. Skis like Armada's and 4-Frnts most likely wont be available. You should definitely demo first, cause it would suck to waist your money on something you don't like. It also helps you find the right length of ski you want too. Good luck finding skis, rock on.

switchpollard i agree on demoing, but i know that skiing certain shitty mountains in maryland/pensylvania your never ognna have a chance to so i came to this site for help and ended up goin with enemies and eventually public enemies and i loved them both, also its good to see this kid not gettin critizided as many which ski posts are

the trouble makers are nice and the 1080's are not bad either i would wait and pick up the volkl karma at the begining of next season it is sick

Definitely get the Head Mad_trix. Anyone who has ridden a pair will def. say that these skis are some of the best on the market. Also they are practically indestructable.

Eggs and bacon please, eggs over skeezy

Well thanks for the input guys...I called the local ski shop, and they only sell Public Enemies for like $410 with bindings. So I'll prolly get those this fall when they go on sale. Thanks to all who gave input!!!

Well I checked those out 4skizzle...but they were a little to pricy I think to be my first set of skis.

But I'll look into them again just in case and see if them sell them at the shop.

dude make sure you get good bindings like the salomon s912 ti. there the sickest and really light.

well me and my chick were gettin busy at her place when her parents were gone, we were in the basement so she says to go upstairs and get a condom and im naked and i obviously ran to go get it, it was dark as hell too so on my way back downstairs i missed the last 2 steps and fell flat on the ground with an boner, i was so lucky - Lateralis

I would def. go with some Head mad trix's, they are great. But yeah they are getting hard to find at least for cheap, so maybe look into some K2's those are pretty sick.

Ya rossi f/s def dont suck, they fucking rip, maybe u should just learn to ski and realize that all park skis are pretty much the same

Try and book something from this year(or last year) whatever, not current year skiis-

alot of times the only diff is the graphics- I would nt spend over 275 for you first pair, ull trash em faster than you think(especially on jibs)how much all mountain do you ski-

btw, 1260s(park and mad trix(all mt are pretty cheap, and not tooo bad

BTW are you Eric Taylor, play for the Blast u15 w/lesh?

Dude i have skiid on the 1080's and the scratch fs's. I like the scratchs a lot more. They are pretty good in AK pow and they rock at rails and park.
