What kind of skis

Im looking to get a pair of twin tipped skis. Ive recently been riding park and looking to get twin tipped. I currently have a pair of k2 omni which suck in park. I like to ski all over the mountain and love to go fast. I am 15 years old 6foot tall 140 lbs. Looking to spend under $300 Any recommendations?
 
Since you're looking for under $300 you're going to need to get something used. You're a big guy and it sounds like you want all mountain performance as well as park performance.

You have a ton of options, but I would look into Line Blends, Ninthward Firstbloods, Salomon Gun, Armada ARV (although you might consider it too soft), Volkl Bridge or the old Karma, etc. They are all around 90 in the middle and perform all over as well as in the park.
 
Oh, if you want something really stiff look into Head or Line Prophet 90/100, it kinda depends how stiff you think you can go in the park.
 
try something like the k2 silencers, or fujatives

the silencers and fujatives both supposedly do well all mtn, and since you r just starting out you wont b beating the shit out of your skis so the silencers will actually last, unless you are already destorying skis the silencers will not hold up
 
I can't recommend them enough. They were an improvement over my Chronics in every way. The flex feels good in the park but also the flex and sidecut together let it cut some really sweet turns outside of the park. A lot better than I expected at high speeds and on icy terrain. They are just a blast to ride and the graphics are great. Look around though, because there are a lot of similar skis out there (dimension and flex-wise). But I do think you get a lot for your money with Line, $450 at most retail places is pretty good for a 90waist and a shload of carbon fiber inside.
 
Eaglesfan- Since you are not full grown yet, don't spend $500. I'd recommend finding a pair of leftover (not used) Salomon 1080's......they are fun in the park, ski the whole mountain well and, if you are on the East Coast, handle the ice and hardpack crap really well. Also, they are loads of fun in fresh stuff. I have a pair of '05 1080's that I still ski on. I saw a few pairs of leftover 1080's still in the shrink wrap at Nestor's here in PA. About $250 I think; a pretty good deal. I'm sure you can find them on the web as well. When you are fully grown and know what your style in the park is, then go out and splurge on the latest and greatest twin tip.
