I'm a metal head... I listen to 3 Inches Of Blood, Cradle Of Filth, Mudvayne, Nightwish, In Flames, Spineshank, Bleeding Through, Lacuna Coil, Trivium, Unearth, Children Of Bodom, Chimaira, Glass Casket, God Forbid, Lamb Of God, Hatebreed, Ill Nino, Killswitch Engage, Satyricon, Shadows Fall and the list goes on...

just posting to see what my fellow newshoolers like to listen to.

I've heard of one of those bands that jibvt listed. I listen to hiphop, reggae, older rock like G'n'R, and anything else that please my ear drums.

i would call it metalcore. not true metal. it's a version of it. i'm not being an a-hole, but just protecting my music.

 
if you like iron maiden/judas... i suggest you get ahold of the 3 inches of blood - advance and vanquish album.. you can def. tell that there is some maiden/judas influence in their music.

 
im a metalhead but with good classic hair 80's metal. FUck screamo and death metal and gay shit like that. listen to the good shit like some maiden, metallica, G n R, Motley crue, malmsteen/Rising force shit.

It's all about diversity. Hip-hop, jazz, metal, punk, acoustic, reggae, ambient, drum and bass. It's all good (except country).

I listen to just about everything. Depending on the mood. Except you will never hear me listening to country.

I just saw a few of the bands you mentioned the other day. Killswitch and unearth were pretty crazy live.

 
I am always game for everything, but I will always fall back onto classical music and prog. rock

Yes, Mike Oldfield, Jethro Tull, and Gong are some of my fav's.

Schubert, Beethoven, and Liszt are incredible classical composers.

ummm, yeah.

Pink Floyd and The Who are also fantastic.

Basically Led Zep, Pink Floyd, The Who and Yes. I keep going in and out of phases where I listen almost exclusively to one of them and a little to the others. It's a never-ending cycle of good music.

Also a little of assorted other classic rock: Hendrix, the Beatles, the Doors, AC/DC, and others...
