I know we are skiers here and need a car to get through the snow, I got that covered because I can use a 97 silverado 4x4 when the weather gets bad. So dont suggetst awd cars like subarus, etc. Im leaning towards the 5.0 mustang because of the distinct exhaust sound. Also I know the insurance what insurance costs for sports cars are so dont give that as a reason not to buy.Any other suggestions would be nice, would like a v8 though.

Thanks

trying not to hate but why the hell would you buy those cars? They look like the biggest d-bag cars.

but beauty is in the eye of the beholder

whats your budget man? cuz i can think of others that mite work for you depending on how much u wanna spend. but between those, definitely the camaro. i think that mustang body is grosss

do you have a year range that your looking at? cuz if i were you id get a 60s-70s era muscle car and fix it up a bit

get a foxbody with a 5.0 and have some fun

or get a smokey and the bandit Trans-am or a later firebird, what ever for 3500 it's not gonna be a great muscle car, it will have some issues to deal with.

or since we are skiers why not get an old Audi with quattro

Theres a couple mustangs around me that Im lookin into,But im looking for a car that might need a bit of TLC to work on with my dad. As he likes projects like that.

get a 65 fastback. so much more better than either of those cars... in my opinion, people totally forgot what the fuck style was in the 80's

Mustang over that other piece of shit.Hope you like supporting terrorism jks but make sure you got a budget for your gas money!

ugh

please no early 90s/80s sports cars

if your gonna get a sports car, make it a 50's classic, a 60's muscle (gotta love a 69 GTO) or a brand new exotic. you might as well go for an older one, those things are gonna fall apart for sure

fox body's are dead

the trans am requires a mullet to drive.

buy an old 240 or something sick for cheap and turbo it. or better yet buy a turbo'd one, theres a couple on my local forum for under 5 grand. yeah they are beat up on the outside but if you can find one recently built and what not its a nice setup.

I'm not a fan of the old Foxbodies and most of the 90s camaros and firebirds are trash. Shoot for an old trans am (stay away from the 80s) or look into the 60s and 70s like a Plymouth Duster, Dodge Dart etc... They are pretty cheap and easy to work on, plus they have decent power to begin with if you dont get a slant six. They are also ballin platforms for Bigblock swaps since all you need is a new K member.
I for one am on the same quest, I'm looking for an old '70-75 duster to fix up into a daily driver or an older 68-69 chevelle. But good look on the search man.

Corvette insurance usually runs less than F-body insurance....because mostly old men drive vettes, while reckless teens drive F-bodys.
The interior of an F-body really starts to degrade after awhile, things start rattling and won't ever stop....

youre retarded.50's and 60's muscle cars arent sports cars. sports car(like exotics) have good handling to go along with the speed. muscle cars are just that, fast in a line, sloppy in turns.
my votes for an old fastback stang, fix it up, will make a baller ride pullin mad hunnies and will be pretty quick. or a fox body, theyve always been dope cars that keep on growing on me. or save some more and get a newerish trans am like so

nope i saw it, and sure they were sports cars for the time, but to make that car handle that good takes a lottttt of money.

nothing wrong with foreign cars man, most toyotas are made in the U.S. anyway. and your guna have that tacoma way longer and have way less problems than say an f-150 or some other american truck.

My recommendation is worthless because it fails at a few of your criteria.

-It's not "Domestic"

-it's not V8

But I'm submitting my opinion with reasoning as well.

MkII Toyota MR2 Turbo

I own one, and hand down, it is the MOST fun car I have ever driven. The exhaust note is VERY nicely toned too with a 2.0L turbo I4. Power to weight ratio is high and the car will be quick (mid 13's in 1/4 with minimal mods of exhaust/intake and a boost controller. And on the road you will be hard pressed to find something that is as enhoyable to drive as the MR2 turbo.

And the build quality of the car will be light years ahead of the build quality of a early 90's "muscle car".

if youre alot in the mountains, maybe hunting or so, this is it. or if you like cars that dont go faster than 100 mph, are loud as hell, need gas as hell, look like devil designed them, youre in

GM or Chrysler. cant go wrong with either of those brands. both are doing really well right now i hear.
