What jacket should i get?

im lookin at either gettin a oakley jacket or a helly hansen n im lookin 2 pay 300$ max so what kind of jacket should i get? i hav another question also.... doesn anyone know if the oakley 2x4 jacket is warm at all?

2x4 is a shell. shells are not for warmth. layering is for warmth.

a shell blocks the wind, so you can use that and then just put a fleece or sweater under the shell

 
yea cool thats what i wanted 2 know about the 2x4 jacket, if it was a shell or not... so i dont know what kind of jacket im going to get i really want an oakley jacket cause then ill hav oakley 2x6 pants woth an oakley jacket

the HH feed back jacket in Henna is sick. or the Sadhu in wood/henna/cardboard not too sure how much they cost. r u talking american or canadian dollars?

i have the 2x4 jacket...its a little more than a shell with minimal insulation...but its not fully insualted...its pretty much perfect for me ...i just where a ls shirt and button up shirt under it and im good

well to keep it real I started being a Poser Poser. I dress and act like a poser, but i'm not really a poser. I just pose to look like a poser posing. you know just keepin it underground

What about Phenix? I just bought one of last year freestyle coat and it's very warm. Maybe you could get one for cheap.

I just remembered my g/f bought a new HH coat this year. Its a guys model but she seems to enjoyed it. Plus it looks nice. Guess I'm not being a good help!? Anyway.

dude u wannna match so go buy the 686 jacket and pants. i just got the atom jacket w/ cargo pants. is soo sweet and mad warm. plus, u get a zipp out jacket w/ it which is also warm enough, and waterproof, for warmer days at the mountian . the pants have the same feature where u can zip out a pair of light, waterproof pants.

yea its a snowoard jacket but the whole set comes to $450

I'd go with the Oakley jacket, but I am bias to oakley....I have an amazing Oakley jacket, but it was significantly more than $300.
