What is your favorite Radio Talk Show

Personally I listen to ESPN Radio, the local CT Station (97.9) or the New York Station (98.7). That and TED Talks. Can't stand Limbaugh, which is sad because he was audited a few years ago and is like 98% accurate or some ridiculous number. But anyone can criticize the government, I'd like to see him run. I digressed.

Whats your favorite Talk show station NS? Or just favorite radio station in general? Genre or location and channel number?

Searchbarred, mostly turned up NS radio stuff. sorry if repost.

inb4: ipod, aux cord, etc... I listen to ESPN Radio on my iPhone because my antenna is broken...

Sports Hub 98.5 in Boston - Toucher and Rich / Fleger and Mazz

The only talk radio I listen to...besides Car Talk on NPR on the weekends - gotta love click and clack

The Herd with Colin Cowherd

Mike N Mike

Scott Van Pelt and Ryan Russillo

Maddog Radio

Jim Rome

Dean Blundell Show (Toronto)

Are you a self masochist? That much ESPN would drive people to suicide

fuck mike and mike, fuck rome...bunch of clueless goobers. I bet you enjoy watching first take in the morning with bayless and stephen A too right?

i listen to Mike and Mike, The Herd and SVP in a row almost every day.

I personally hate first take, can't stand bayless and smith together. and Rome blows. sorry to the guy who listens to him.

haha if anything it's Colin that would put me over, the Mikes rock and although I don't get to hear him often, Rome is more of a joke anyway. And Maddog is just a big troll, only get to hear him in my dads car on Sirius XM. Working in the summer i used to stream espn radio from my phone, it really helped the time pass.

Now that I think about it, Cal Ripken had a cool show on MLB radio too, but again I rarely get to hear it

My favorite was "mornings with Dave and Chuck the freak" on 89X in Detroit. They were on the air for like 12 years or something but just got bought out by a new radio station. Those guys were hilarious. I hate listening to sports radio.

same, love Science Friday, and All Things Considered. the hipster in me wants to like Radio Lab, but it always comes off as over-produced.

Car Talk was entertaining in it's own way, but now they're just airing repeats.

Yeah it's kind of a bummer...but there are sooo many episodes and they're pretty much timeless that the repeats are just fine to listen to

Plus they've been putting up their podcasts of complete episodes on itunes for free which is nice

i stopped listening to radio a long time ago. i do love talk show podcasts like the Joe Rogan Experience.

Anything on Shade45, preferably black, white, or other, whatchu drinkin' whatchu smokin'? and of course hate it or love it.

>complains earth is overpopulated and we are destroying the environment

>has multiple children and drives a gt3 among other vehicles

oh, JR

he doesnt complain he just talks about it. and he has 1 child for the record. you are just bitching because you don't have his cars.

The Jason Ellis show is the best. Him and rawdog are hilarious and it doesnt have to be g rated like public radio.

I don't really listen to radio talk shows, but if I do it's bob and Tom. It gets repetitive though because 75% of the show is them laughing

Dan Patrick show everyday and if I am driving in the afternoon, I'll listen to Hartman and O'Brien. I don't really like those two, but it is better than music on the radio.

car talk i was on their show CLAIM

Preston and Steve Show!!!

Philly/SE PA, NJ, Delaware. They have an app in the app store it has podcasts right on it under the "On demand section"

these guys are awesome, steve is one of the quickest and wittiest dudes on air, i cant count how many times i bust out laughing while listening to this show

Agreed!

I visited their office when I was in Boston. Dewey Cheattem and Howe is seriously the name on the building, and it's in Harvard Square.

yeah haha, thats why he so great. it took me a little while to realise why he was so good

Freebeer and Hotwings is a hilarious show. Rush is okay from time to time but I prefer Howie Carr, the chump line is hilarious

Yeah colon is good because he relates sports to life on general. I don't always agree with him, but he's usually interesting

Howard Stern, the guy who made radio shows what you hear today. I guarantee you everyone named so far has him as their inspiration for getting into radio. The Jason Ellis Show is pretty fucking hilarious also.

Exactly. It is as if I have no patience for the radio anymore unless others are in the car. Talk radio, forget about it!!

The Joe Rogan podcast has opened my eyes to a lot of cool stuff and a lot of other cool comedians to follow like Joey Diaz, Duncan trussel, ari shaffir etc. And just a bunch of other cool people with different ideas and outlooks on life. Great stuff.

Other podcast as well like Ari Shaffir's skeptic tank are pretty good. Besides my short commute to school and a little high driving I do by myself sometimes, hard to find enough time to listen as much as I would like..

First and foremost The Herd with Colin Cowherd. Any self respecting sports fan should give the guy a listen. Perfect mix of knowledge and pure comedy

Non sports talk radio has to be The Freebeer and Hotwings show. absolute comedy gold

I left my dog and my dad 94 sonata. A cat jumped on the hood of the car and my dog went ballistic and chewed out the entire dashboard. So it was basically clear plastic And you could see the airbag through it. However the dashboard is the same colors duct tape so we wanted to see if we could cover it with duct tape.
