I actually read a lot and enjoy reading all sorts of literature. What is your favorite book of all time. Mine would have to be One Second After by William R. Forstchen a realistic fiction based on a EMP based apocalypse of sorts

I was just about to post I am the Messenger. Seriously, that book is fucking awesome.

But I'm gonna have to go original and say the Lord of the rings.Haters go'n hate.
 
the road - cormac mccarthy. the movie is fucking ridiculous too.
devil in the white city - best book i ever read.
they are making it into a movie set to debut in 2013. Leo dicaprio is in it so its guna win best picture.
read both and ur life will be changed.
 
tom clancy. dont agree with his politics at all but he is a ridiculously talented writer. his ability to keep track of a humongous plot is amazing. especially in Red Storm Rising. that was a fuckin cool book!
 
i read pretty much only full fantasy series, and the only people i ever see reading them minus my one friend are 300 pounds and have neck beards..

in all seriousness, his dark materials (trilogy), Inheritance cycle, Hobbit, Ender's game (+remaining books), and Dexter. I know there are more, but those are the ones that come to mind at the moment

dune by frank hebert, he is a fucking genious. up there with lovecraft in my opinion as greatest sci-fi writers ever.

I read a handful of poets, yusef kumonyakaa, addonizzio, hughes, bukowski

rum diarys by hunter s. is one of my favorite books of all time.

house of leaves was crazy

the wasp factory is another good one forget the author though

This. All of Dan Brown's books are amazing

The House of the Scorpion and The Hobbit are great books too.

And Harry Potter will always hold a spot in my heart
 
almost forgot the biggest influence from my childhood: the hardy boys! have every book except for 3 of them
