Seriously though? what is wrong with these people? What is it about skiiers that attracts them to shitpost year in year out on this hellsite? People like Skierman, eheath, Dolan, theabortinator etc etc

You can go a decade without logging into this site and the same cast of characters is making the WORST posts in the world. You would think they would grow up, get married, start a family or some shit but NO, still nothing better to do other than word vom on some website filled with overprivileged white kids.

Lmao fuck off, I think you need a lesson on ski culture. Your post reads like you are a race kid from vail whose parents drive an escalade.

As far as your examples of shitposters, yeah skierman is a douche, but it's the internet, man up. Eheath is literally the head mod of this site and just tries to keep it real (even if he makes some weird arguments sometimes). Dolan is probably a Nazi, but he is also a ski manufacturing genius. Abortionator has the highest karma on the site, and yeah he posts a lot, but he seems to use NS to vent, and nothing is wrong with that.

Who tf cares if people's posts aren't up to your standard. I think it's pretty amazing how great this community is, especially if you compare it to Reddit or something like that.

Where do you live? The mountain bike community in Colorado is full of mostly elitist, pretentious assholes. It's hands down the worst outdoor community I have been apart of, the ski community does not even come close.

Makes me feel terrible you had this experience. But I can say that I definitely haven't and if you need to be introduced to non-dickheads in the ski world I think this is actually a great place to meet them. I've met some of my best friends of 10+ years and my husband here.

Technically I met him hiking rails but I'm pretty sure he thought I was a total dork and then I stalked him on ns and fell in love lol. Not sure if it was the triple layer cotton tall tees or the shin-length dc jacket that was doing it for me. I was a snowboarder and he converted me to skiing, the rest is history.
