So I dated this girl who was real nice and chill she decides I'm not the guy, ok fine that's how it goes right? She asks if she can still use my snowboard gear for the rest of the season and I said sure because I would never want to deprive anyone of shredding the spring slush.

Months after the season ends still no snowboard I try texting her finally called her and I was blocked. She didn't want to give my stuff back and I ended up having to talk to her dad (we are still good friends) and I'm like hey I think your daughter is trying to steal my stuff do ya mind telling her to give it back. Anyway I get it back thanks to her dad I just don't understand how you could switch from a gf to a theif has this happened to anyone else?

Maaaaaaaan I had a coworker act all buddy buddy with me and let her borrow pants that she was interested in buying plus goggles and after 3 weekends of riding together she dropped me like a complete stranger (maybe she thought I friend zoned her or something psychotic like that). Struggled to get my stuff back for no reason other than her saying, "oh I forgot them" along with other lame excuses. Highkey almost killed my snow spirit by April even after getting the money we initially agreed on a month later.

I've been dealing with some of this and I know how it feels so I thought I would drop my thoughts in and try to give you a shoulder to lean on. First off, in my view ghosting which is basically what you are describing is very common and it reflects on her more than you. Ghosting typically shows that someone is insecure or not very mature. As others have said, you seem to be going about it correctly based on your post. Nobody has really done what you said with the board to me but that is really shitty considering that she didnt consider that you were placing trust in her and considering her best interest. I would say you were the mature person in this case.
