What is with the new SAGA hype?

honestly, every newschooler has to like some clothing from saga but they're new outerwear looks like shit. everyone is complaining about FD when SAGA is pulling out jackets that are 3 or 4 different colors with random logos on every part of the jacket, who cares about the art inside the jacket, its outerwear, whats with the scripture logos and hamburgers on every zipper, badge, patch etc.

If someone can please explain why there is so much hate on FD when SAGA is worshipped by newschoolers?
 
I like both color ways from both companies this year but I prefer the anomie desgin to the vertika this year.

I kind of like the FD blue and purple pants, but their reputation, and fit. I don't like very much. FD pants look like genie pants, knowing this I will be spending my money on Saga.
 
Stay seated fags. FD is beat and looks like K-mart shit. Branding is bunk too. Once I actually got my hands on some Saga the difference is clear.

Not really on the Saga hype train, and I have never owned anything from them, and probably won't. But Saga as a brand is for real.
 
Well this happens with almost every brand.But I think the Crown Jewel is looking really sick.

And Saga's quality is amazing!

About FD I do not know but the tan suit looks sick to!
 
Because Saga will remain as the dominant player within this market due to there previous reputation. Regardless of what kind of designs they bring out each year people within this community are going to rave on about it. They have an on going commitment to create quality products for a target audience that doesn't have $500 in there wallet to pay for something with equivalent features. As far as competition is concerned First Drop can't meet the qualities of Saga and will continue to front a poor aesthetic quality about itself, this is evident both through there outerwear and a host of other things.
 
FD is shit quality, my friend has pants and the pockets all ripped within a couple weeks, i have saga pants and i have one small uncoiled thread after 2 months, fd blows, saga kicks ass, some of their color choices are strange but in the end i would rock saga rather than ski in anything from first drop!

Who cares, I love how people treat saga vs. fd like bloods vs. crips. The majority of peole wear a combo of companies, orage jacket / oakley pants... However, if someone were to wear a fd jacket with saga pants it is considered punishable by death. IMO if fd added some loveable big names to their team, people would be on it like stink on shit.
 
i don't understand the saga hate. good fit, great quality, good looking. most jackets are simple enough that they all go together. they are pretty clean in my opinion. OP is either troll or idiot
 
If u don't like it then don't buy it. However if you do like it, then buy it! Stop bitching about what people should and shouldn't buy.
 
i think saga's designs are going down hill, i love the og moss and bever fur jackets but dont like much of the last few seasons. Then again i have a suit from last season and love it....
 
yep, and fd was making a lot of their marketing around him but he dipped to saga when they offered him more $$$

i have a feeling that youve never actually owned a fd jacket and are basing your argument off of what youve read here on ns. But from a person whos owned both, saga may be better, but the quality of fd is severely skewed when people talk about it on here
 
youre right on several things there. that fd jacket does look worse than the saga one. and no i have never owned a fd jacket but i have had friends have their gear and its junk in my opinion. im not a 12 year old who forms their opinion from what other people say. ive seen the gear and compared the two side by side.
 
yeah, the jackets from fd might not be good (they sure don't look as good as Saga's), but the fd hoodies are nice

Saga is relatively cheap, fits well, and is high quality. my on deck (which was $86 at the end of last season) has better waterproofing and is just as warm as my old $300 spyder jacket. FD sucks more dick than an insecure middle schooler
 
I have owned both FD and SAGA

the quality is unmatched.

saga takes the cake in just about every aspect of quality and looks.

FDs hoodies are really great except for the zippers but thats all that they offer thats alright
