I just landed a new trick ive been trying for in the park and i stomped it yesterday.

But my problem is i dont know what its called.

I basicaly do a switch backflip with 180. I throw them at the same time and my head goes under my skis and i land goin forwards.

Any help on this is much appreciated.

Also just another quick question, Is a back flip with a 360 called a rodeo 360?

Cheers

Rich

Switch flare to the first question.

The second question, depends. Are you blending the back flip and the 360? If so, then it's either a back/full (technical name), mobius loop (old school name), or more likely a d-spin (new school, if the 360 is early and it goes off axis).

I like to think of a rodeo as a side flip with a late 180 (rodeo 5) or 360 (rodeo 7)- the angle of the jump prevents the side flip from getting completely upside down. The earlier you throw the twist the flatter the spin becomes, hence the flatspin.

2nd question, no, a rodeo 3 is just a wierd backflip. A rodeo 5, is like a backflip with a 360, done at the same time. A flare is just a backflip, and 180 at the end of it, no matter how you cut it. But if you do the 180 simultaneously with the backflip, its a rodeo 5.

Me- 'Thats an SAT'

Friend-'Oh shit'

petek is right... also for the second question, a backflip and a 360 at the same time is a back full. Rodeos are fucked up backflips.
