WHAT IS THIS TRICK CALLED?

when someone skis up to a jump or rail switch and pivots right before it looks almost like they are going to puss out...if anyone has a better description post it please

Most kids who I've seen do that look dumb. They don't even press on their tails or nose. Its not a butter unless you press.

i love buttering on to rails, it feels so good, but i look like a tard, because my tails are so stiff that my nose only comes up like an inch or two most times.

its called a switch butter on. very few people can do it right to make it look steezy. Most people will just 180 right before the rail, which is incorrect, cause there needs to be a pressing turn involved, hence the "butter" term...

im pretty sure its by ladytron - saw them at coachella last year i think.

the track is called seventeen.

Wait. "Incorrect" in FREEskiing? Did I read that right?

It's either butter or just 180 slide before the take-off (if you don't happen to press your tail/nose).

Who cares anyway?

what the fuck is he gonna search, that trick where you almost puss out?

People are still allowed to makes threads even though we have the all mighty search bar

What was he going to put in the search bar?

[Ummm...that spin before rail thing that looks like someone is going to puss out] ::Search

good question, although your description was awful, at least its obvious that you were clueless as to what this was called

yeah, for it to be a butter u need to press really hard on ur tips or tails. example, if u butter foward ur tails should be in the air while ur rotating

I like it when kids who don't know what they're doing butter around way before the rail, come out of the butter, then just to add effect to how poorly they did it, spin the opposite way they buttered. then they claim it and are like "Dude I just switch buttered onto that rail!" no you didn't!

jea.

and why has no one mentioned travis heed?!? that mofukka buttas OUT of his rails! god damn!!
