What is the plastic stuff on a box rail???

i wanna build some boxes but i dont know what the plastic stuff on top of the box is. if you know hit me up that would be sweet!

if you have any plans for boxes that would be cool too!

You can get 3' x 4' sheets at home depot for 20-50 bucks depending on the quality. Make a good base out of wood and get the lexam cut for you so its straight, and the sink screws into it (pre-drill the holes so the screw doesnt poke up at all) and you're sweet. put metal edges on if you want.
