??What is the original LINE ski, i.e. First Model??

I have the original LINE Skogen Sprang model ski. Its the blue top sheet with a ship and storm on it. I was wondering if that was the first year of Line skis. I believe its a 98/99 model year. It came out when the old 1260 did.

Surprisingly, they are still ski-able. I was like 11 when I got them and have put 100s of days on them
 
Haha not sure, but it is amazing how easy it is around me to find OG line skis literally in ski shops. I found one place off Windham Mountain that had a whole row of them, probably from the very early 200's. Some of them even came with a subscription to Freeze.

Oh ya, those only came in like a 191 or something right? I remember debating between those, the 1260s and the skogens when I got mine and the 191 was too long
 
I got my 1260s when they came out in 02/03, they were my first twin, and I remember looking for the earlier models.

Being an obsessed 11 year old, and this new skiing thing happening, I did a lot of digging.

Positive those dragons were their first.
 
haha no, OG means Original Gangster, and I was just referring to the first few line skisBut they look like crap

Also, the shop was still charging $400 for them, ridiculous
 
Viking graphic Skoegn pro was later. They had their first 'ski' protos the winter of 98-99 and had their skis on riders and available for demo that summer at the camps in Whistler. They first came out woth the Ostness Dragon and the 1260 which was white and really damned short. 160s? 154 maybe? Ostness was 191cm.
 
I see. I remember checking them out and I ended with the Skogens because I was 11 or 12 at them time and the 1260s were too short and the Dragons were too long.
 
The first Line skis I ever saw were the 1260's. Like said above there were short. But what I remember was that they were mounted at true center which I remember being crazy and stupid........and now I'm a total believer in center mount, haha
