What is the most iconic ski location?

Alaska, pretty much the mecca of skiing

then in no particular order: british columbia, squaw, chamonix, jackson, the wasatch

for park i'd say mammoth then summit county and PC

I mean have you been to Perfects??? It’s pretty Iconic as Shit when Laker, Goepper, and Ankilla are Murkin the Park??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️

Squaw if you are good.

Vail if you are beginner/intermediate.

IDK about Chamonix re the Alps. I went there after being in Verbier and it was kinda a step down in terms of everything. Just so much over there.

All in all I am going to have to say Snowbird- so much varied terrain and some crazy cambers etc. Anyone who has skied the spine of Cirque Traverse well tell you its unreal. Especially if you dump skier's right at the end by Daltons Draw then thread through the cliff band and suddenly the slope opens up and you feel like you are literally going to fall on top of the Peruvian lift. Some of the most epic days of skiing in my life have been at Snowbird.

Schweitzer is pretty epic to if you know where to go. Some crazy steep trees out there out by Pucci's Chute and lapping Lakeside Chutes is fun as hell. Some real skechy shit out by South Bowl Chutes too.

There are some pretty fun spots at Mary Jane off the Challenger lift if you know where to go and drop in at the right time. Some really cool pillow lines that are fun on a pow day.

Squaw jackson and Kirkwood imo. Well maybe not kwood anymore but c'mon it held the FWT and is the only place to do that in the USA. As far as I know.

As far as Backcountry Alaska hands down.

Euroland...chamonix I would have to say. Or the Kitzbuhel but that's not really NS style.

If we’re talking not resorts but ski spots: For urban I’d say the most iconic spot is the (now grey) Quebec red ledges

For big mountain the most standout in my mind is pyramid peak in Alaska

Backcountry booter spot has to be chads

Fauna nailed it

Honorable mentions to Chamonix and Jackson Hole. Most people in Europe would instantly recognize any pic of the aiguille du midi, most people in NA would instantly recognize a pic of Corbett's.
