...anyway, the easiest way to spot a flatspin or a misty is in the leading arm. If the arm is raised and then set down and across the body, its misty; if it's held out to the side, then set at a slight upwards angle across the body, it's flatspin. A lot of guys throw these tricks similarly, so it's easy to get confused... mainly because in both you're rolling onto your back in the air. Another good way to tell is in the 'roll'; in a misty you roll forwards (like running and rolling on your back across a table), and in a flatspin you sort of set the roll back towards the jump.
