What is the craziest thing you have ever seen on the slopes???

christmas time we always have one or two smartasses skiing as santa or some shit. I saw him wipe-thefuck-out pretty intensly. major lolz

I saw a lady hit a jump and completely unintentionally do a back flip at Eldora. She under rotated just a bit and crashed, got up and started laughing to her friends. She had no idea how close to death she just came.
 
A moon bounce flying down the slopes. Anyone ever see Viva La Bam ground hog day episode?
 
A girl peeing in the North Face Trees at Mt Snow while eating a sandwich. i think it was tuna. Then again maybe it wasnt the sandwich that smelled...
 
involving freeskiing:a friend of mine was doing some sort of gaper day and was wearing snowblades and retro fluo outerwear when he took a huge box super slow, switch and he moonwalked over the box then did 180 out and rode away like a G, never laughed harder :D
Also once saw a gaper take a rail, i think he tried to clear it cause he didn't even attempt to jump 90 on and he got nutted so hard, i even think skipatrol had to bring him away ...
+ once was on a 6-seater, i was sitting on the right side and in the middle was an elder couple, around 70y old i think, and they just started french kissing like teenagers, it took several minutes and they only stopped when we asked them to open the safety bar ....
awkward liftride for sure...
 
right after the Olympics last year some kid thought he could do some trick, got about 90* and double ejected the jump was a 65ish footer
 
I was skiing to my fav spot as a kid when I was a kid. And stopped next to some people fucking, I didnt know what they were doing and I left.
 
switch 10 when not expecting it. some dude was noodling away, no steeze at all in his columbia jacket and shit.. pops switch coming up to this huge booter and i was thinking 'the fuck is this clown doing?!'

bam, switch 10 tail. stomped. blew my fuckin mind.
 
True story...Im in the park at sunapee and i get on the chair with a SERIOUS gaper... were talkin 145 race skis, columbia jacket, no poles, you get it... and i dont think he was doing a gaper day either because i could tell by his face he wasn't a beast at park who was faking it... but back to the story. We get off the lift and the sunapee park is split in 2, beginner/intermediate and expert, and the guy, with me, takes the expert path. Im thinking what the fuck is this guy doing? Were waiting at the top of the first jump, he goes, throws a steezy ass backflip. never been so shocked ever in my life.
 
rode the chair with an angry, angry old gaper man

started complaining about his skis, the cold, and his husband (yes, husband) who had apparently taken a chair without him and not waited up

he then threw a temper tantrum as my friends and i stared, kicked off one ski and swore a bunch. then he rode down with one ski to go get the one he had dropped.

weird guy...
 
It's not really weird, but if you ride Stevens you'll know this, there's a guy who dresses as Santa and rides everyday until Christmas. He whistles Christmas tunes, as well.
Some kids that were riding my bus program dressed up as two monkeys and a banana and then pretended to have butt-sex in the woods in the park. That's was just dumb.
 
last season at killington I was at cooper's cabin around mid-day taking a "break" and this kid came out of the woods with a full size keg.
 
I've seen this+

A girl fall around 50ft to hard ice when her jacket got stuck when she tried to get off at the halfway unloading at waterville.

A Dude with 1 freaking leg, standup skiing, 3 a 10ft jump
 
Saw a girl ripping down the hill (arms out, jacket open and flapping in the wind) totally out of control. We knew she was going to wipe out and when she did both skis and both boots came off. Single greatest wipeout I've seen in person.
 
damn a few posts hatin' on columbia jackets.

not gonna lie, I frequently wear one because it is far and away the warmest and most comfortable jacket I have ever worn.

well that and unlike many of you, I don't have the means to buy a new $200 every year or 2. Got this one cheap a few years back, and it still serves its purpose...so im keeping it.

In the kronplatz snowpark in italy, i was there with my skiing group (i was teaching)and a friend of mine was there with his snowboard group, one of the kids in his group, a rather good boarder made an attempt to take the rainbow box over the gondola but forgot to pop...
result: broken ankle, and imho he was lucky, cause that crash was so brutal !

i to saw a man with one leg 360 a 10-foot table.
only difference was he was black with gorgeous braids.
 
switch 7.. i swear to god ive been skiing since im 4 and ive never seen a better trick than that... last year was my first park year tho...
 
I was riding up the lift at Mountain Creek NJ, and saw a guy attempt a double backflip but over rotated and smacked his so hard he left an indentation in the snow!!!

 
yeah, and the look on their face as they sail past you in the death wedge is this look of just pure horror.
 
on one of my last days as a snowboarder (spring break last year) I was at PC and saw some skier throw a rodeo 9 on one of the jumps in Pick N' Shovel. I had never seen a trick cooler than a 3 before...totally blew my mind.
