rockin the ipod with the right tunes on gets me so crazy, i'll jus try anything...is skiing with cans on arrogant or dangerous? in verbier tanner hall almost killed some boarder cos he didnt hear the 'drop' at the start of tanners run cos he was rockin his pod

think what you will, but english skiers will takeover one day...
 
i think rocking is ok, but that means you have to pay more attention, yeah IPOD kicks ass, i have a piece of shit nike one, it only holds 18 songs...it blows

i got my 15 gig at the begining of the summer and i got mine for 350 or so and i also got the 4 year warrnty so theres no prob if i break it so im not worried when i ride with it

Get an RCA Lyra thoses are awesome they never break i always drop mine and shit and it keeps on playing

 
ive got a mini disk. it was 100 bucks and it hold 150 songs per disk. it works out fine

ECM productions presents... 'Last Man Standing' coming end of Jan.
 
i just got a rio cali 256 for christmas and it is sick, perfect for skiing. i had one of those RCA lyras but it kept turning off every time i hit a bump. RCA = really crappy appliances.

yeah get one of the new Ipod's. They hold 1,000 songs instead of 4,000, which you'll never need. They are nice and small and come in a bunch of colors. I believe they cost about $240 or something. They are awesome and you can also use them as a Harddrive(which they are anyways). This means you can connect it to your computer and move folders or anything else such as pictures or movies onto it. This is what makes them better than minidisc players. There Just better over all. GET ONE!

I'm leaning towards a Nomad Muvo 4GB. or the Muvo 1.5GB. They seem real decent. I've read good reviews about them. Right now I found the Muvo 4 GB on sale for $199.99 That's 43% of the retail.

Does anyone have problems with Nomads? I think they are up there with IPods in quality.
