Well all these other waxes are fine, its hard to beat Swix in terms of quality and variety of high performance, temperature specific waxes. Swix is an industry leader, and I'm sure its what most of the top racers are using. I doubt any of the small brands mentioned in this thread are used by any world cup racers.
But for freeskiing, that kind of nitpicking with wax is not needed, which is why a market exists for "cheaper" waxes that aren't insane expensive and can be used over a wide range of snow/temperature conditions. But technically, these waxes aren't as high performance as Swix's high end waxes.
