its just indoor/outdoor carpet. You can get it at home depot for about 50 cents a square foot. Its not very great for skiing on though.

Its astro turf i have some. JUst get it SOAKING wet and then you can slide on it, but not very fast.

we did it once with astroturf and lots of soap suds, it worked well enough
