What is music becoming?

The beat isn't bad at all.

The actual first verse that bad either.

However the chorus is terrible, and the beat during the chorus is garbage.

The second verse sucks balls.

The video was edited good I think though. I was picturing that editing on a ski segment, and Idk, I think it would be pretty sick.

no doubt its funny and everything....but come on what kind of a premise for a song is that? its like snakes on a plane in song version

good music is becoming hidden. cluttered with noise (i wouldn't call half of these bands musicians). they all wrtie songs in the same style, it's like there are song writing machines and they just put their depressing word in there and it creates a couple lame ass cords to go with it.

dont play dumb, you know when sex, drugs and rock n' roll got old it became all about bitches, crack, and fake gold

"They say hip-hop's fallin apart, but that won't stop us from callin it art .

Yea we gotta hold it down as a collective, and make sure they see our perspective."

by the way, that kid is like 15 years old, so he is rapping about the chain his parents bought him, and the range rover that his parents LEASED for him.

real ballaz buy cars in cash.

and del. cant forget del. (i mean del the funkee homosapien not deltron. deltron is heiroglyphics and del and some other funkee dudes)

i saw this video yesterday on BET i think this song is on the same level as ridding diry by chamillionaire and the guy with the big list knows his shit i would live off what he posted

Yeah that beat is illnasty. The fucking lyrics ruin it. Not that those little kid's aren't sweet or anything, but as hard as the beat is they kinda throw it off.

And Spritz I'm so glad you mentioned Citizen Cope in you list above. In my opionion that are on of the most unique musical groups out there. Even thought it's mostly Greenwood.

as far as mainstream rap goes there are fewer and fewer quality guys out there. I think one of the best rappers in mainstream even though he isn't exactly very popular is Fabolous. The whole desert storm crew puts together some hard beats and some creative lyrics. "They tryin to put two 9's on me just like Gretzky."

Notice how Jay-Z's career (as far as rapping goes) is taking a dive. He ran out of old biggie stuff to work with. He's on his own now, having a hard time producing decent stuff.

Mainstream anything is just so horrible. Especially rap it is just so bad i get embarrased for the person who is writing that shit. but rock is not too far behind with this whole pop-emo-indie shit. it is all the same get over it and it all sucks.

Now dont get me wrong i dont just hate mainstream because it is mainstream. every once in a while a band will become mainstream just because they are so good.

I bet you were looking for ski jibs when you found that video. Either way I think the song is pretty hot at certain parts.

I didnt mind the beat at all, the chorus kinda sucked, but the regular beat was dope. Get mac dre or something rappin in that and it would be dope.
