That is exactly what I think... It really has to do with the fact that the existence of human beings is neither important nor relevant to the history of the universe. Life is simply a mechanical state which is extremely rare to have occured. It is something that is extremely complex to understand with many variables that control how things happen. The evolution of the brain marks a point where "Life" goes from being a mechanism (ants scurrying around for food, they have no desire of their own) to being something much more. We have to be content that we have this and enjoy this sensation for as long as we can. When we die, the mechanism will end and there will be nothing. Absolutely nothing. So don't try thinking about that, we CAN'T think about it because it is not something that can be THOUGHT. It is quite the opposite, it is the act of complete non-thought. Anyways... ok I don't know if I'm on track anymore... heh.
