What is it like in N. Lake Tahoe...

I have the opportunity to jump into my buddy's spot on a trip out to the north lake are feb 8th and i was just wondering how the conditions are now cause i know the season started out pretty slow
 
just to clarify, i am from the east coast so i am looking to send about zero time in the parks i just want to know how the rest of the hill/bc is in the area right now
 
Everything is getting pretty filled in and sick.

Alpine is pretty filled in at least..

If you catch a storm while up you'll probably be able to hit everything depending on avalanche conditions, etc.
 
two three foot plus dumps in january, plus a couple of foot plus dumps.....and more on the way tonight and tomorrow.

For what your looking for go to alpine meadows only and dont waste your time at northstar.....

feb 8 is my bday, nice time to come out!
 
There will be plenty of snow....The question will be what condition it is in? Soft of icey. If you wanna ride some good big mountain go with Kirkwood, Alpine, squaw and sugarbowl.
 
yeah the snow is definitely plentiful right now. there is a lot of coverage. i just hope it gets colder so the snow gets lighter. i was gonna go to homewood tomorrow but it's supposed to be raining everywhere above 700ft.
 
not really sure yet we are getting a rental car so we will prolly hit up a couple dif places...where are you heading on the weekend?
 
yo i just dislocated my shoulder for the second time this week...first time on my bike, second time skiing pipe (grabed mute with my right hand and my left shoulder popped in the air) so i'm pretty much fucked and if i do go to tahoe i am gonna have to be wicked conservative so i prolly won't be much fun to ride with, thanks for the offer though....such a fuckin buzzkill
