What is it about FKS turntable binding that everybody likes?

Is their something im missing? I dont seem to understand why everyone likes them. My dad has a pair on his skis, and i skied them before, and i didnt really notice anything different.

but the narrow screw pattern in the heel is a plus, they are bomber, the release of the heel is very smooth. they really are great bindings but it pisses me off to see 125 lbs kids riding 155s
