What is core to you

so a companies coreness is how small their factories are?

Thats the stupid thing i have read all day on here and it comes as no suprise that you said it

exactly. royale you need to quit pulling bullshit out of your ass as your argument. maybe you should learn some shit about skiing before you even post something in a thread

no one wants the general population of ns's opinion. what's wanted, is your opinion. you need to start thinking for yourself and not just adopting the positions of whatever you happen to be reading at any particular moment.

and on another note, where the FUCK have you been reading that?

sorry for the triple post here I forgot one thing:

I believe that too. Smaller = more devoted to skiing, therefore more "core".

But hey, they're all ski companies, right?

They all wanna help out.

smaller is NOT synonymous with more dedicated to skiing. I don't mean that small companies AREN'T dedicated to skiing, just that they aren't NECESSARILY MORE dedicated than a bigger company. like i said earlier. you can be just as dedicated to our aspect of the sport whether you're making 3 pairs a year or 3000. as long as you're putting ALL your effort into the newschool community (ie twintips), you're core.

to summarize, any company that makes only twins is core. any company that gets most of it's revenue from race/rental/allmountain skis is not core.

and royale i used to really respect your opinion, but now you need to get off your high horse of thinking you're super core because people are supposedly gonna donate to your project of making skis in your garage in 2008. that ambition is great, and i hope it works out for you, but it definitely DOESN'T make you any more "core" than line or ninthward, so stop claiming it.

So because LINE is big now and they mass produce skis, they arent core anymore?

If anything, IMO, they do the most for the sport.

any company solely dedicated or has a seperate branch for freeskiing is a core company (opinion)

EXACTLY! just because they've been successful doesn't mean they're less core. they're still dedicated solely to freeskiing, and their success has allowed them to do even more for the sport because they have the money to INNOVATE on projects like the prophets, lizabeths, and invaders.

you know when youre eating an apple and then theres not much left to eat except for some fibery shit and seeds? thats core.

i think a core company is a company that is focused on one aspect of a sport and make gear for that sport only and make it for the skiers(or w.e) by the skier(or w.e)

Line and Ninthward are doing so much for the sport. More than any kid making "skis in his garage" could.

I totally agree.

Royale, stop posting right about now.

It's actually enraging me to see how much you fucking contradict yourself in even the most insignifigant threads. You change your mind as soon as people try to question you. Fucking goddamn stop it. Figure out where the fuck you stand before you continue post whoring like you do so goddamn much.

Jesus fucking Christ.

Ok.

I'll figure out where I fucking stand. Look at my last post.

I don't consider this post whoring it's having a conversation in a thread.

Dude you are gettin really annoying. You're opinons suck. You think they rock. They don't. I agree with laura. Shut up.

cream is not sponsored by ninthward.

they merely support it.

and as far as "what is ninthward doing for the sport", they're changing attitudes and making people question what we previously thought of skiing as. They're adding an element to the game that wasn't there before, stirring up controversy where controversy needs to be stirred up.
