What is best to use to film skiing?

At the beginning of the season I bought a Canon EOS Rebel T6 for like 300, definitely a sick camera but not for skiing. I recommend some powershot was digital zoom, especially for your price point. I guessed wrong going with a big DSLR. Its too big to get one quick shot and then put it away. Also I never feel comfortable handing it to a friends because its easy to miss the shot and/or make the vid shaky. Last thing, with whatever camera you choose, definitely go with a moving LCD screen. I regret so much not paying an extra 100 bucks for the view enhancement.
