i am moving to utah for this comming winter and i am starting to look at jobs at ski areas out there and i am having trouble figuring out which one i want to work at. i want to be able to ski as much as i can but still work a 40hr week. i am looking at working in a tune shop or as a liftie because i have already got experience back here in the east doing those two things.

i think as far as money goes, Deer Valley pays the most. Along with a nice big bonus at the end of the year. Skiing at DV is alright enough to pass a couple hours after work, but theres no park. Good ski perks though with other mountains. maybe others can chim in about the other resorts because this is the only one i have ever worked for.

i dont like to ski park much so it dosent matter if the ski area has a park because i would rather ski powder.

If you don't ski park work at Alta or Snowbird. It'll be the best season of your life, and you can potentially live up there... which means when the canyon closes the entire resort is open for about 300 people, with the most snow.

It'll be sick.

If you dont care much about park, def look into working at alta.

They have some employee housing, so you could potentially stay there, get a free ski pass, and ski hella and work without having to pay rent OR for a ski pass, save you some COIN

Keep driving past Utah and work somewhere in Tahoe or Mammoth. Utah has great snow although everything else about it sucks ass. Weird!!!!!!!! Try Squaw, Sugar Bowl, Alpine, Kirkwood, or Mammoth.
