skiing everyday is the dream of millions!!! romantic illusions of crisp glides through the frosted forest ignore the hardships of skiing daily. notwithstanding these and other challenges to skiing daily, there are many that ski every day or nearly every day of the season!! more than anything else, for me, skiing daily is an attitude that grows from a lifestyle based on a close relationship with the earth. to be so in love with the earth that i base my life around activities with the earth. one on one activities like skiing, hiking, biking and camping. skiing everyday is me keeping my promise to the mountain to visit her daily!!

soloed the bc near grizzley gulch today!!! first time using at gear instead of bootpacking it!!! pretty cool!! rode mtb down lcc at the end of the day in freezing sleet/rain!!!! sunny and warm in the valley!! take time for yourself!!!!!

ammo crates and shell casings from the 105mm howitzer used keep sr210 open during the snow season!! this ammo is left over from the vietnam war and is nearly used up!! slaag brings this shit off the mountain and hauls it to the turquoise house by bike!!! like us, many of our friends are vets and are glad to recieve one of these as a gift. lotta shit goes down during war, good and evil, and lotta shit sticks!!! ptsd is no joke!!! it is satisfying to see the release of emotion and hate that these old shells and boxes bring when gifted!!! we turn for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you still be a ski bum if it's also your job? Also not living in my car (At least at the moment) been there though.

But I still consider myself a ski bum life. Ski towns, plenty of poverty, powder and park.
 
a ski bum is living in your car, sleeping next to your skis and skiing 75 days i a row. the only thing you can eat is ramen, pizza and of course scooby snacks
