My understanding of what a butter is this....you basically do a nose/tail press, loading up your tails/tips, then do a 180 on that pivot point your pressing. Correct me if I'm wrong...

it's a rotation (or a spin) on the ground, without ever jumping. Just put pressure on either the tail or nose, and spin.

yeah rainville in yearbook has two really god ones... i haven't seen it in awile but isn't one just a plain 360 butter on his tips which is hard as fuck and then a switch 360 butter on his tails which isn't that hard... hard but not as rediculous as the first one... boyd also does a really tiny sketchy butter 3 on tips in 1242 which at the time was pretty amazing...

yeah really butters are really easy you just have to do it on whichever tips are facing downhill so either a nose-butter, or switch butter are the most common. plus they are 10X easier if your boots are stiff.

I live in a place far far away, where on occasion the telly tubbies will come to play....and that's when Ma gets out the shotgun. Damn critters climb in our gutter system all the time.
 
a butter is when you spin around on a box at least 1 foot wide. spinning around on a box less that one foot wide is called a stunt spin.
