you didnt spend all of this money on skiing...... you know 4 hundred dollar skis plus bindings, 3hundred dollar outerwear and everything else just to get you to be able to ski, then your mtn pass etc. if you didnt spend this couple thousand on skiing what would you be spending it on???

Drugs to forget the fact that I don't have a life or a passion that makes me stoked every single (winter) day.
 
I might have a girlfriend, my car might be running right now. I would probably be just super heavy into another sport though cus thats just who i am.
 
id have a car my camera setup would be payed for instead of debt... Id probably spend it on stupid shit... definately more drinking, I always turn parties down to go skiing.
 
i would have a dopeass freeride bike ...maybe. or more likely an xbox or some other technology type stuff
 
i aready spend 2215 this spring on new skis and other skiing related stuff, i would have smoked so much pot if i didn't buy skis
 
rad thread.skiing is expensive.what if?i'd be on some tropical island every 6 months, surfing my pants off.literally.
 
I'd have a 7D with a fish and a 35-70, two or three nice flashes, and pocketwizards. Or a beautiful freeride bike...
 
for me its more like what if you didnt ski and you could actualy have a job than what if you didnt spend money on skiing
 
well I guess I have no fucking idea. I would probably buy wayyyyyy more weed.

but everything i own or like to do is somewhat related to skiing in a round about way.

What a depressing 'what if' question
 
I'd be really uninterested in living relatively healthy and have lost a huge source of inspiration... would have spent lots more saturdays watching cartoons when I was little but honestly I probably would just snowboard
 
porn i guess. i mean if i'm not getting my balls busted for being a jerk-off on skis, it'd make sense that i'd be jerking off so much that i'd bust my balls.
 
Are you an 18-24 year old male, wear Berkinstocks sandals, watch Family Guy, play Ultimate Frisbee, and wear an upside-down visor or a baseball cap with a pre-frayed brim?
 
I'd have a super nice collection of cameras and lenses, a good laptop (to be honest though, I learned everything about the interwebz from NS), a couple bikes, maybe a mountain board and a longboard. I'd also not have as much fun and probably less computer time

I'd be a totally different person if I didn't ski, it's crazy
 
I feel like without skiing life would be so much stupider and I wouldnt really have much to spend my money on. Are there any other sports that fellow newschoolers are into as much as skiing? Sometimes I feel like skiing is the sport with the most obsessed participants.
 
Yes i completely agree. I get told all the time I'm "obsessed" with skiing. With a sport like ours, you have to be.
 
i would first invest it into a small company witch would grow over the years, i would just keep re-investing all my earnings into that company. then id sell the company and use all the money to buy church
