What if NSG didn't exist?

My belief is that the community of NS would be collectively more mature, being restricted to only discussing ski-related topics on this site.

Members would have to go elsewhere to do most of their trolling and such.

I likely would have spent the majority of the last few years using TGR to fulfill my desire to communicate with other skiers about non skier related issues. Due to the advanced age of many of the users, it is likely that one of them would have tracked down my IP address and then found my actual address. Knowing I'm in shape and live alone, they would have sold my information to a Mexican prostitution ring. 2 months from now, I would be kidnapped and have my feet removed so that I cannot escape. 3 years from now, I while on the verge of death, the herpes I am destined to contract will mutate into a brain infection slowly deteriorating the brains of it's victims, untraced. This will lead to the great zombie outbreak of 2017.

Thanks NSG for existing.

there are no divided forums on a blading site i go on and it's pretty good besides how dead it's gotten. like 2 years ago it was more close knit than ns and stupid threads were less common

The great thing about the addition of NSG to SG is that, with NSG, newschoolers provides a space for members to not only share a love of skiing, but build relationships as people and create a community centered around skiing, but not exclusively concerned with it. After all, are skiers people, or people skiers? We are both, and we relate accordingly.

Thanks man, for my biology field camp I had the opportunity to travel to Madagascar and study this specie of snails, very fascinating creature indeed.
