I have never demo'd a pair of skis before I bought them because I have never seen a demo tent with twin's that I wanted to buy before. The only twins I could have demo'd were 1080's. The only demo's that come around here are for carving skis. Anyway, if you read the dimensions, and read what the reviews say about the flex, and then go to the shop and feel the flex yourself, you should have a pretty good idea. It's all about the dimensions and flex.

if you have a chance to demo ANY SKI, do it and if the skis don't make you perma-grin, then you know they aren't for you and you can narrow down your decision

yea you should figure out everything about the ski like size model genre sidecut before you buy it. dont ask questions about it after you buy it.

vtrider seems to think he knows alot about skiing, and their is no doubt in my mind that you spend alot of time alone in your room reading about the latest equipment and such so he can make fun of people that dont spend quite the same amount of time as he does studying.

Dude, shut the fuck up. Im just tired of comin on NS and seeing 67 new posts about which is better, the Tm or the PE. All im sayin is everyone on here has a differant ridings style, and that riding style may jive alittle better with a certain ski. So my advice was to go out and try a ski for yourself, not to start usless posts about what ski is the best. And where did I say that I knew ''every single little thing there is to know about the sport,'' cuz, I really dont. I ride out of the east coast, and I know what works well here. Ive spent many days on snow with people who know there shit. I work with THE BEST bootfitter in the business. So yes, I do feel that I have more knowledge the the average joe shmoe that is on this site, but no, I am not a world cup ski tech, testing waxes for bode.

I was never trying to be a dick, or come across as one. I was simply advising all who are out there of what to really do.

Baught a car recently? Well I can bet my bank that you test drove that son of a bitch before ya baught it, so why not skis? Testing is availible, so why not do it? I mean, it does seem like people on here know there shit, but so does a saleman in the local ford dealership, but for some reason, you still take that car out for a test spin. If you dont, your the retard.

So all said and done:

TEST SKIS FOR YOURSELF, FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU LIKE, NOT WHAT SOME ONE SAYS ON A MESSAGE BOARD.

Ohh, and I'm sure you test out your wang before you use it in action. CASE AND POINT.

it seems like you expect everyone to listen to you cause you work in a shop so you know exactly what your talking about. and thats why im telling you to suck it up. you dont know everything there is to know about everything, and either does anyone else on this site.

some people arnt as fortionite as you to have the ability to demo skis or talk to a 'shoppie' like yourself. therefore their only option to learn about a ski that they might be interested in purchaseing is to read about it on the site, and ask questions to other fellow skiers.

hence all the threads about it on newschoolers.

dont get me wrong i completely agree that everyone should demo before they bye, if of course they have that option.

if not, then talk it up, ask someone who has skied them regardless of how much good stuff you know about the ski already. no matter who you talk to they are always going to have a different opinion on it. and it is always best to learn as much as you can before you drop your hard earned money on new sticks.

as i said before vtrider. if your too busy working with the best boot fitters in the industry or testing out the best skis etc. dont hit the reply button, i didnt think that was that hard of a concept to grasp.

I can't demo skis because the shops near my ski resorts don't have many twins, but that said, I have to go on NS to see what a ski is like. I think too many people just make new threads that have been repeated. You can search the forums and the reviews, so it's quite easy. You should do the research, see what you can find, and if that isn't enough, post a new thread about it.

Whoever said 'It's the skils not the bills' hit it 100%. How you drive the ski makes the biggest difference between models. That, coupled with the fact that different people ski differently (imag-afucking-that.) means that everybody will like a different ski for different reasons. I happen to love my TMs for all over the mountain, but I don't slide rails. I'll never slide rails. I can't justify spending $400+ on a setup to kill it in one season. That, coupled with the fact that this started as nothing more than a bitching post that belongs in the haters paradise cult means it's time for me to shut up.

If my penis was as short as yours and I was posting naked pictures of myself like you are, I'd photoshop it too.
