What/how do you like to ski your first run?

Do you go hard or take a few to get your feet back and burn beers off? I like to go down a groomer that I can do some carving and also cool around with some butters and rollers, and ski switch for a bit.

conservatively

Back in the day it was stretch halfway to the park counting off really loud, they ski switch the rest, it was a ride swtich to the park. Now go hard and be sore after.

generally just go a bit easier on the first run. hit all the features i normally do, just straight airs or a simple slide, and check out the bigger hits. throw a few ones in there and ski a bit switch and just pop off everything.

Park days: Cruise down a groomer, find as much tranny as possible, butter everything.

Pow days: Fucking pin er.

This. Just cruise it and work into it as I make my way down the park. Do a bit of switch riding to get everything back to par.

I like a nice, rocky, powdery mix, with a side of partially covered bushes. (run i took this morning)

First run is usually pow, and ride it hard. If its good, I'll do it all day, if not I end up foolin around on groomers, doing butters, finding trannys and such

if there is new snow i take a run or two on trails noone goes on to hit new snow even like 3 inches but if there is no new snow just rip a groomer and ski switch
