What Helmet

A near-death experience in Chamonix this winter has convinced me to buy a helmet. Most people wear the one covering the back of the head only. Some go for motorcross style helmets. Obviously it somewhat depends on the kind of risks you take. Has anyone skied with the motorcross helmet? Does it inhibit your breathing or otherwise impair the overall experience? Any useful advice? Or simply go for the 1/2 helmet?

When I'm trying something tough or new, I'll strap a helmet on. I wear a bmx helmet that covers your whole scull, not a motocross helmet though. I don't think I could bring myself to wear one anyway.

yea go with the 9, but dont get a visor on it cause its kinda hard for me to spot a lading when i was doin a backflip w/ the visor on it

don't get a motocross stlye helmet...theyre gay and skogenchick has one and she well...i think you know.

and dont get a visor either.
