What Headphones do you Use?

some in earbuds from a company i don't know/skull candy buds/ipod buds when i'm skiing

icons anytime else

Sony MDR V-6

super dank headphone and a giant step up from the shitty-ass icons/earbuds/low level Sony's you see out on the hill all the time.... you can usually find them online for around $60....

^for sure, glad you pointed that out.

I got mine at Amazon - it looks like they're still in stock:

I used them non-stop for about a year & a half living & riding on Hood and they sounded great the whole time but I had to replace the jack twice, and would have a third time but I just got a pair of Sennheiser HD280s. So just be careful about where you put your iPod or whatever - mine was in my pant pocket most of the time, which gets knocked around a shitload when you're skiing.

the actual headphone part is really sturdy, though.

I made a thread like this a couple of months ago and I was told the thread had been made 42 times before. So you're number 44. =)

I USED THE IPOD ONES MOST OF THE TIME :( CAN'T AFFORD GOOD BUDS AND I HATE MY ICONS WHEN IM SKIING/ IN CLASS

BUT ON CAR RIDES AND STUFF I HAVE ICON 2s. THEY'RE PRETTY GOOD FOR $17.

Panasonic RP-HJC120K

theyre cheap and they have pretty good sound but the reason i have bought them 3 times in a row is because they fit my ears perfectly. the most comfortable in-ear headphones I have ever owned.

the best one i ever used are the marley earbud. nylon wire so it never become hard when its cold outside and the quality of sound is like no other.

For dubstep and bass purposes: skullcandy scullcrushers, all other music(not often) : beats detox( the ones with curly cable and metal outside) they are fucking amazing and scullcrushers are legit. Granted the beats are 500 bucks they aren't the most economical option, but don't downgrade to beats solos or tours, they suck. Just get scullcrushers on amazon for 50 bucks

I bought these for DJing and i'll tell you why.

Virtually the same thing as the Pioneer HDJ-1000, and even cast from the same molds. Very nice isolation, good quality, I haven't even been able to overdrive them with bass - which says a lot since most of what I spin is Progressive house, D&B and Dubstep. They are very light, and above all look better and have better comfort than the same headphones they are cast from - the Pioneer HDJ - 1000.

On top of that, i scored them for 80 bucks instead of paying ridic prices for 'Pioneer' to be on my headphones.... and then whats awesome is they LOOK great, so win-win-win for all.

Aaaand then for just fucking around, I have these.

Got them for 20 bucks on whiskeymilitia, and bought them only because they have fucking subwoofers in them lol.

In comparison, they actually have decent isolation and feel pretty comfortable, but.... then theres the whole 'needing a battery for the subwoofer' and 'pretty awful bass quality even with the subwoofer' that gets in the way that makes my 20$ investment seem to make more sense... That, and the really heavy and awkward battery pack for the subs gets a little annoying. They feel cheap, they sound cheap. I got them for cheap. Whatever. lol.

they absolutely are... yeah, they are good quality, but you might as well get real DJ/Studio headphones for that price...

Depends on the day but either skullcandy 50/50's or icon2's.. And if im just on my comp or listening to my ipod on the plane, walking around etc, ill use BEATS or Bose.. Great sound from both.

i like icons, but i end up buy 3/4 pairs in a season. luckily skullcandy replaces em all.

don't use earbuds. they mess with your balance. actually i don't know if that's true or not but after i heard it i'm too afraid to ski with buds
