What have you stolen?

Law is law, sin is sin, yet many people do this every single day in some form, be it malicious, for personal gain, trying to survive or just for shits and giggles, theft is all around us.

For many years I used to steal Twix chocolate bars or other small and easily snatched candy from a supermarket when in junior high. I didn't even enjoy them too much to be fair, sometimes took a bite and threw them away or gave them away to someone else. It was just for the juvenile thrill, the coaxing or for some sneaky satisfaction. I never thought about the ramifications, such as when I was caught trying to steal smokes - luckily it was a little shop in a little town and I got away with a warning. I, we all knew it wasn't right, but did it anyway. I know many people on NS have stolen rental poles, for example, without any big feelings of remorse.

So NS, what have you stolen in your lifetime, why did you do it and how does/did it make you feel?
 
Me and my friends used to go to this Dollar General (Dollar Store) like every other day after school. We would get the usual candy/soda/food ect but after have been going there for a month or so I made a bet with myself to steal atleast one thing everytime we went there. I really have no idea why I did, but i just did. And this lasted probably about 2 months or so juts stealing like candy or something but then one day i wasnt too sneaky about it and the cashier was watching me suspiciously so since then i havent stolen anything since.
 
I tried to steal a sticker from a shop at my mountain. I got caught and they took my pass. Luckily I got it back. Parents lost a lot of trust for me though.
 
I've only ever stolen one thing. I was desperate for a lighter and had no money on me, so i walked into a gas station and snagged the only lighter they had not behind the counter. After its use, I gave it to my friend. I couldn't bare to look upon the shame of my short-lived criminal career.

Most of the time at my home mountain the food line is mad long and there are two exit, btw the food is dumb expensive. Like 8 for a hamburger, a shitty one at that. Yeah but I steal food all of the time. It's not hard really. Just walk away
 
The candy shoplifting type stuff like everyone else I guess. And sneaky refills of course, and taking stuff at buffets that I hadn't really paid for. And so many busrides.

And if downloading stuff counts, I might be very guilty.
 
I've stolen condoms because the cashier at cvs was a friend of my sisters who i'd known since i was like 10
 
the first thing i ever stole was a lighter from CVS. that was 3 or 4 years ago and i still have it today. ive also swiped a number of pens (just did that yesterday, in fact) a beanie from Kmart, and i used to steal microwave burritos from the schools cafe when i was really poor and my meal plan expired.
 
I'm right here with you dog. I wouldn't even consider this stealing more like borrowing but anyways, 4th grade, took quite a bit of Legos. But all I did was construct something back at home then I brought it back to show to my friends lol I have thought about stealing things but never had the actual courage to take it.
 
Multiple bottles of cologne, aviator sunglasses, a necklace, UnderArmour shorts, money clip, tons of shot glasses on multiple occasions. Shot glasses are what finally got me caught and arrested. Be careful out there kids, the reward ain't worth the risk of having to own up to your actions. $15 in shot glasses ended up costing me over a thousand bucks
 
Beer and wine fron Safeway, deli food from Safeway, 2 pairs of Von Zipper sunglasses and a Dakine Tanner Hall backpack, 3 pairs of glasses from Zumiez, food and free refillsfrom the lodge, many lighters and hella pencils and shit from my elementary schools book fair. Fuck me I'm going to hell.
 
when i was in grade school we used to put clear tape on a dollar bill to feed into a pop machine then pull it out to get a free pop... that's it for me
 
Yeah especilly when my friend is the head line cook and tella me it cost's them around $2.00 to make a whole pizza and they sell it for $4.50 a slice..
 
i used to take a large slurpee cup and then get a red bull/candy drop it in the cup then fill it with slurpee. bitches don't know shit
 
Nothing from a store or anything. But I have been known to get drunk and steal stuff from parties, usually just booze or novelty signs and that kind of stuff though. Never computers, ipods etc.
 
i could never steal anything from a store cause it would make me feel so guilty but i guess downloading free music is stealing and sometimes refilling my drink before i pay for it.
 
The biggest thing ive stolen i honestly dont think i can post here because i feel like its actually sorta a big deal. Maybe not, but i dont want to risk it. But if you really wanna know, pm me and i can send pics and the story behind it.

Other then that i stole a little lighter in the shape of a pistol that doubled as a laser pointer from a store on the Ocean City MD boardwalk and also in the same night me and my friends stole a bunch of cigars from a different store because we are under 18 and cant buy them. Needless to say they were kinda shitty because they were just in a cup near the cashier, but oh well they were free.

 
The saga knee pockets make it damn easy and inconspicuous to steal things. So I buy a burger and then just pocket brownies and stuff. Sometimes if the line is really long I eat all my fries before I get to the cashier.
 
I've never really stolen anything. Besides pirating and asking fir a cup of water at mcdonalds then getting soda. I find it hard to respect people that steal just to "feel a thrill" when it's something small and easy to purchase. But then again I am a hypocrite
 
Me and my friends (between 2 or 3 of us at a time) would run into the local rite aid, grab 2 18 packs each, and run out with the manager on our heels. We did this about 3 times in 4 days. Now they have cameras so we stopped but it was great while it lasted. FREE BEER
 
I remember in like the 8th or 9th grade, I was hanging out with this chick who I kind of had a crush on. We were just walking around the neighbourhood, when we happened to walk past one of those convenience stores owned by an indian family. She said something along the lines of "We should go shoplift from that store, I do it all the time!". She told me that I should go in alone since one person is a lot less conspicuous than two. Being the sucker that I am, I went into the store. I grabbed about three candy bars and a bunch of other random stuff. But as I was about to leave the store with my loot, I got this overwhelming wave of guilt that came crashing down on me and drowned me in my own conscience. I just stopped dead right in the middle of the store, not knowing whether or not to trust my gut. After a while, I resolved my inner conflict, and decided to pussy out and just buy it. I left the store, told the chick I stole it, and afterbanged.
 
bull. you've never once downloaded music or movies or used someone's internet without asking?

but yea for me, besides 'virtual' possessions that aren't exactly possessions, nothing. just music+movies+software from the interwebs.
 
I spent two weeks in Italy with my Latin class senior year in high school. Throughout the two weeks between 8 guys we stole about $2,000 in shit.

The biggest thing that we got was a $500 Ferrari racing jacket from the Puma store. We had a crazy ass system where people had those magnetic pin removers so they could remove the sensors without ink getting everywhere. People would distract employees while others would steal in our travel backpacks.

I stole several silk ties from street vendors and a couple soccer jerseys (not authentic just generic) from some stores. We could have gotten fucked looking back on it but oh well. Haha
