Haven't been on this website in years. What's the latest NS drama? What have you been up to as an individual?

Personally I've been having a wild past few years. I started my own company for a while making vinyl stickers, that was doing as well as I hoped and so I bought into a similar company and I've been going hard with that ever since. I just recently moved to Hawaii, traded the skis for the surfboard, not to shabby. I was intending to go to the Uni here but just decided that I'll be moving to Sweden to complete my pre-med degree majoring in Psychology, free college isn't too bad of a deal. Soon I'm gonna start growing psilocybin mushrooms because fuck western mental health medicine. I've been vegan for a while too, so let's see all the hate. But I just wanna do as much as I can to make sure we snowy winters, and a healthy earth. Anyway this is all over the place but I just wanted to tell you all what I've been up to since my hiatus from this site. Maybe some of you remember me, if you do, I apologize.

I don't frequent the site as much as I used to that's for sure. Periodically come back and check on things but more along the lines of lurk and make sure theabortionator is still alive.

Personally...... stopped smoking dope, gave up skiing, stopped being a piece of shit, became a Law Enforcement Officer (wait I thought he said he stopped being a piece of shit?), and here I am... sitting in a patrol car....in the middle of the night.... on Newschoolers.... wishing the town would wake up. I make it out to ski a few times a season and I still get all giddy when it starts to get cold and we get that first snow fall. I'm going to ski Big Sky for the first time this season, so that's something to look forward to! Oh yeah, and I'm getting married. yeet. (is that how you use that word?)

It's like Peter losing his imagination in the movie Hook.

Just remember, never grow up and never lose your stoke.

I always felt a soft spot for the collection of wholesome dirtbags and chill folks we have on NS. For me it's nice to see a group of online strangers that have all kind of grown up together over the years, even with the hiatuses most of us take.

I graduated in 16' from Buffalo and headed West to Boise, ID to see what's up and get a steady but boring job in accounting. Everyone in NY thought it was weird to pick Boise of all places but it's now recognized as one of the most popping cities in the country ( Fastest growing in 2018 by Forbes) so keep making those potato jokes, Nicole, hows living in New Jersey?

Got into Mountain biking big time before moving to Sun Valley, Idaho this year. I finally feel like this is the dream I've been thinking of when I was on NS as a highschooler. Living in a small ski town in Sun Valley, at the base of a mountain, getting into Backcountry / Touring, camping, backpacking, hanging with cool people who are all living in this great ski community. It's a big change from the traffic, strip malls, and boring culture of back home. I'm working a job I love in Finance, getting hands on experience with a UHNW individual / family. Having a career advancing job while living in a ski town is probably the luckiest combination I've ever had.

Pretty interested to hear about the rest of NS, just from other thread's I've already seen we're up to cool shit.

Halfway through undergrad, just wanna grind through, get some dumb job and fuck off. Ideally fucking off forever by settling down with a nice lady and being a DINK with her, just pursuing hobbies and shit.

Hopefully will get out touring and climbing more with some people and meet more along the way. I spend a shit ton of time on google earth and have endless ideas, but have found that it's hard finding people who wanna really get out and explore hands on like that. Life is pretty good overall I guess, just have to stay motivated and work on some personal issues, and on that note mental health is really, really scary.

After all this time, I never realized your icon says Saratoga on top. I love and work in Albany and am always in Saratoga. Right on man. Congrats on no dope and becoming a police officer. Life is fucking wild.
