I agree. a 3 to 5 is super easy. you come around to three, you can see your landing, and all you do it toss it around a little tiny more. For 5 to seven, you have to acutally commit to a whole nother spin. And you can't really see it, because At 540 you're lookin up hill.

it took me longer to make the jump from 5 to 7 then from 3 to 5. nbut once i had a 7, i could do just about anything i wanted.

it took me longer to go to 3-5 but i think thats just cuz landing switch on teles can be pretty challenging, when i was learning 7's i had alot of problems with drifting off axis

I dunno once you get past 5 it gets easier. each 180 makes less difference in the speed you're spining. You just need to be comfortable moving up to the next spin and know when to spot your landing. And don't try to spin a 7 off a 25 foot jump that's hard

im had a lot of trouble getting the 5,

i got the 3 in the winter of 02-03, and didnt get 5until the end of last season, maybe b/c broke my collarbone and missewd some time, and didnt go to enough good ski areas, (like away from belleayre, catamount crap)

dude all you have to think about is once you spot your landing for the 3 is just try to land switch, if you can land a three consitantly then you can land a 5, just spot the landing as soon as you can on the 360 and only think about putting your skis down fakie... now 5 to 7 is hard, you have to spot your landing twice,
