ESPN put this up themselves. For a high school basketball game... this is nuts.
 
was that before halftime or something? no one really went nuts so it clearly wasn't a game winning shot

the dunk was more impressive
 
Impressive. Kinda wish my school was like this hahah were only good at track, field, and soccer. We're insane at T&F. And that's pretty awesome how it made its way onto ESPN.
 
end of the third quarter. Our fan section is to the left of the camera so you can't see us, & once they dunked it, we went quiet.. but that 3 was drained... & we were going crazy... well at least I was

That's me uptop in the middle. I was going fucking nuts & this shot is like :15 seconds after he made the shot so the crowd had calmed down a little.
 
Tomorrow is our semi final game vs the #1 seed team

our crowd is projected to be 2x as big as this & this was on Friday. & for a high school with only 1,200ish students, yes, that is a very big crowd. We broke the bleachers.

I love highshool basketball games, I played jv this year as a sophmore and my favorite part was watching the varsity games for sure. It's actually super competive for such a small state (I live in rhode island) and some crazy shit happens for sure. I've seen some sick mixtapes from conneticutt too, some teams from there are nasty.
 
Wait, your school is 1200 kids, and you drew that size crowd? My HS was less than 400 kids, and our regular season crowds were easily double that.
 
some good basketball players actually come outta RI, but yes I know it is probably the least competive state for sports. You can't deny this kid is nasty, Ricardo Ledo ranked 19th in the country got looks from syracuse, uconn, west virgina and he's a RI local who played here for a couple years of his highschool career. Providence College is gonna be nasty next year, theyre getting Ricky Ledo, Kris Dunn, and others I think they have a top 10 recruiting class.

but I do agree RI is not that competitive in sports honestly, but there are some good players from RI.
