What happens if you use expired film??

ok, so i recently bought a holga cam and it uses 135 120/22 degree film. we happen to have this film in our house but it's expired so i'm not sure if i want to use it. so what happens if i use it? does anyone on here know?

Try it out, either no photo will appear and it will be a fail, or it might turn out to be quite cool?

I might just not expose right or fully. Just use it if worse comes to worst your only out a couple pics

probably nothing, but sometimes the chemicals are unstable and react in weird ways, so you might get splotches or big spots of silver disintegration w/ black and white, or big areas of unintended colors... but you should probably be fine, it's really not that big of a deal

thanks, i'e been using the film but i haven't proccessed it yet so i was wondering what to expect..
