Ok, he was once this guy everybody looked up to a long time ago. Where the fuck is he, the last thing i heard was that he got a collapsed lung.

that sucks, he's a fuckin cool guy, can rip the bumps, ski lines well and is a good jibber ...i remember the opening sequence from 13 where he busts a sick liu kang out of the pipe just as the music explodes

 
word on the street is he had another accident with a saw this time cutting off his right hand and right leg (beneath the knee). he felt akward having just one leg and decided to get the doctors to cut the other on off. they gave him a fake hand which is always grasping a ski pole, and he got boots fitted so his knee knobs stayed tight in them. nobody recognizes him anymore sometimes he is mistaken for dorion because he onle has stubs for legs. don't lets this fool you he is now the true owner of the gorilla steeze since his arms can seriously drag on the snow. man I knew he was cool.

schad is still out there...probably skiing alot of backcountry. i live in good old rapid city, sd, where he grew up, his brothers live here, and as far as i know, he's still competing occasionally and coaching at high north in the summer.

 
he had a fight with the bansaw which removed his finger - revenge or something like that. Anyway the bansaw won again. So hes now know as shannon no leg schad - hard to ski with no legs

 
he is not leg less, he still has knee stumps it was just his lower legs that got cut off. no joke.

maybe you should stop post whoring and do research quietly. But I guess the thread's question, albeit old as hell, still applies.
 
Shannon Schad taught me how to do rails at high north ski camp in the summer of 2000. My own little claim...........
