What happened with Kirkwoods Generators?

UPDATED AS OF 3:00 PM SUNDAY,
JANUARY 3 … Just 48 hours after a fire
destroyed our entire power supply, we are up and running and ready for full
operation on Monday! Just to be on the safe side, check this website or call
our snow phone at 877-KIRKWOOD before heading up Monday morning, as both will
be updated prior to 5:30 AM. We anticipate having both the front side and back
side open, all chair lifts, and terrific conditions tomorrow.

i was there, generator house/electrical center whatever you want to call it, basically lit on fire idk why but were talkin 25ft.flames off the roof shit was intense, people were stuck and it was a goddamn mess they probably lost insane amounts of money they were fully goin starting today and lied a bundle about how much they had open the last few days

i live up there in the winter and basically to simply put it kirkwoods power set up is really crappy. the whole kirkwood area is run on a generator and when too much power is being run to the generator it fails like it did a few years back this time it overheated and sparked a fire. there was a lot of damage done to the power lines which caused the major delay and much of the fire was on the side of one of the buildings, but the spark apparently caught part of the gas and broke out in flames, made a sick mushroom cloud when it happened.....
