What happened to you Jiberish?

You mean surfing the hipster wave with available 4x sizes, sometimes.

The "uneasy lies the head that wears a crown" and "stihl ly & cheet" shirts are still cool. They just grew up a little.
 
The stuff isn't terrible, it's just different. but I'm glad I got my bagheera crew before they changed so much

This is a spring summer line so there going to do more street oriented pieces than mountain wear. They also have been doing button ups in the spring since 09/10, so what there doing now is not that new. 611273.jpeg (2010 button up)

they have made like 3 things i have wanted in the last 3 drops combined. i find it much easier to save my money now though, so thats good
 
I still have a pretty fucked up Jiberish The Key tee in purple after 2009 i believe? Back then that shit was sick. Just look at the tees posted above. Yuck.
 
I agree jiberish used to be 1000% better now it is extremely average. I could by a 1 color hoodie with a stupid saying on it from a department store for 1/3 the price.
 
In my opinion the stuff they are doing now seems much more wearable than those releases you are talking about.

 
To each their own I guess, I really like a lot of the stuff that I've seen from their upcoming drop while a few years ago I was never really at all into jiberish. I feel like a lot of people seem to think that everybody is making stuff the exact same style as jiberish. While I do agree that there are other companies making similar stuff, I feel that Jiberish is doing it much better with a good bit of uniqueness.
 
They've definitely changed very much as a company in terms of the styles of clothes that they're selling, but I think it is so it can appeal to a much broader spectrum of people. I like their new products a lot, even if it is vastly different from lines the years before.
 
Of course. Thats definitely what they are doing. But they could still pull off way more than what i posted above, which simply is a pattern (a pretty shitty pattern at that), on a colored piece of cloth.
 
They've always had lemons in their lineup. I just did a quick look through their inventory from this year and while there are alot of shitty ones ( imo) like the tshirts^^^ and other stuff, they still have a ton of things that i think are dope:

Most of the tshirts are and always have been, not jiberish's forte in my opinion

 
Before they made clothes that was different. Now they make clothes just like everyone else. The bagheera crew is an excellent example.
 
I don't get what is up with people feeling the need to voice their opinion on how much they hate this years stuff. If you don't like it then don't buy it. No one cares how much you dislike the line.

And if you hate the direction jiberish is going my guess is your first piece you ever purchased was in 2011. People who have supported them since 06/07/08/09 can only be stoked on how successful they have become.
 
For the most part, I really dig the spring/summer line, except for the "Grand Cru" hoodies and your run of the mill indian pattern/cut n sew shirts that you could at UO or anywhere for that matter. Jiberish is still hanging onto its roots but their just trying a new market. I guess I could see where you guys are coming from with the "its been done before vintage prints." But I think it's still pretty tight and probably better than most stuff out there.
 
I have this bombass dankass piece in grey and black. Fucking love it. They still make good shit, that maroon ignant looks good.
