What happened to Skogen Sprang?

I just finished watching sould purpose and it featured a chapter with Skogen Sprang and then I started thinking "what happened to that guy?" . I mean he's a wicked skier but I haven't seen him in any of this year's movies or any recent ones to boot. Has anyone seen a recnt movie with him in it?
 
He ALMOST lost his leg 2 years ago in a moto accident. Kind of faded out then for while for recovery. Was in Stereotype and had a good part. havent heard too much about him since then
 
Damn, good question, think about all the past pros which have just dropped off the radar, it could probibly happen to T. Hall.
 
No it couldnt. T Hall has been too influential to the sport. Same reason we all still know and talk about Plake.
 
Skogan broke the tibia plateau Mx’ing, the damage to blood vessels was worse than expected and he fought both infection and multiple surgeries…as a neighbor and longtime ski/ride companion, I can tell you that he skis every good day, snowmobiles with many of Tahoe’s finest and is still progressing our sport…it sucks that his injury happened right when things where just getting rolling… but you get what you give, and he has been a straight up professional and unlike some pro’s who have burned bridges, skogan has kept it positive and continues to slay it…
 
i also belive he crashed while filming with espn a week before the xgames for the little bios they give for the favord athleats, he got silver the year before in big air with a switch and regular rodeo 5, second to candie
 
How old is he? Physically speaking, athletes reach their prime in their late 20s, and I would argue taht skiing bumps that age even younger, due to the number of crashes and punishment on body parts (i.e. knees).
 
skogen was way ahead of his time. I love watching him ski and I'm pumped that he is getting more exposure lately. He was completely out of it for a while
