What happened to Grenade

They've briefly mentioned it a few times on The Bombhole, but basically the company blew up and they bit off a bit more than they could chew. Grenade was like THE company for the early 2000s and not many pro's had glove sponsors. They built up a HUGE team and once the initial wave of popularity wore off a few years later (like it always does) they just weren't generating enough profit to keep it going at that scale. Appointed a new corporate CEO to turn things around (also right around when DKass picked up the Nike sponsor) but ended up basically driving it into the ground. Danny re-took ownership in 2014 but hasnt done anything with it since.

Im sure there are more specifics, but Im pretty sure this is the general story

I swear every damn jeep cherokee in the early/mid 2000's had a grenade sticker on their back glass. You'd think it was a dealer option

This has always been my mental image of the brand lol. Didn't have a clue what they actually made other than stickers for most of my childhood.

I vaguely remember them having an address on their website to send a SASE to for stickers and like a dog tag lol might have been called the grenade army or something corny like that. my 12 year old ass in 2005 would send those to every company I could to get some stickers back in the day
