you know that kid a couple years ago who broke his back cliff jumping and was failing summer school or whatever

Did he pass? Did he make it to windells?

A vaccine was developed later on called rVSV-ZEBOV. It was pretty successful in preventing new cases each year. Furthermore, succesful community techniques were used to contain the spread. For example, dead were properly buried, infected were quarantined and also wildlife to human interactions were kept to a minimum in Africa. WHO did a very good job supporting the crisis and now the virus is pretty much non existent.
